Evidence standards

How portfolio demonstrations, client case studies and performance claims are labelled on this site.

Portfolio demonstration

A self-directed project created to show strategy, logic, copy, design or measurement. It must not be presented as a paid client engagement or live performance result.

Illustrative metric

A modeled number based on stated assumptions. It must be labelled as illustrative and must never be described as revenue generated or recovered.

Verified client result

A result may be described as verified only when the work was implemented, the consultant’s role is documented, the measurement source and period are clear, and the client has permitted publication.

Redaction

Customer data, account identifiers and sensitive commercial information should be removed while preserving enough context to understand what was measured.

Attribution

Platform-attributed revenue is not the same as causal incrementality. The reporting source, attribution window and limitations should be stated.

Testimonials

Testimonials must come from people who directly observed the work. Friends or collaborators must not be presented as clients when they were not clients.

Current status: the portfolio projects on this site are self-directed and explicitly labelled. No invented client result is used.
